A B O U T   SCONT

S.C.O.N.T. is a homeschool organization serving the suburb areas north of Dallas. We are open to homeschooled youth ages 12-18, for the purpose of teaching statesmanship skills and increasing opportunities for our youth to serve in the community. We meet twice a month on Thursday afternoons during  the school year for our core curriculum, then various times throughout the year for service projects, events, and other activities planned by our youth committees. Members of S.C.O.N.T. thrive in an environment of peer support and quality mentoring as they learn to appreciate the inherit privileges and duties of citizenship in our nation and community.

Monthly Meetings

Each month, SCONT youth are exposed to various elements that help them increase their skills as statesmen. The youth participate in book discussions, presentations, debates, mock trials, simulations, team building activities, leadership training activities, etc... Not only do they learn wonderful skills that they can carry into adulthood, they do it while making friendships that will last their lifetime.

Our Mission
Our History

SCONT started in the fall of 2010 by one mom's vision to give her home-schooled children more opportunities to experience citizenship, service, and teamwork with other teens in the North Dallas area. What began as a small group of 15, has

evolved into an amzing group of 28 members who love our country and state, love to serve the community, love learning, and love being together! SCONT benefits its members and more! It creates Statesmen who can impact the future in ways never believed possible!
